Joplin, Missouri Man Charged With Shooting Another Multiple Times

A Joplin man is facing charges for shooting another man multiple times late Wednesday night.
Investigators say 18-year-old Nathan Spencer, 18, fired into a vehicle, hitting Andrew Yaple, 22, multiple times.
Spencer is charged with first degree assault and armed critical action.
Police say Spencer and Yaple met at a parking lot to drag race about 10:30 Wednesday night, and started fighting.
The fight carried over to the area of 41st Street and Joplin Avenue where the shooting happened.
