Marion County, Arkansas Man Jailed in Shooting Incident Near Peel, Arkansas

A Marion County, Arkansas man is in jail following a shooting incident at a residence in rural Peel, Arkansas on Friday.

Investigators say George Cagle, 61, of Peel fired one shot at Patrick Rogers, 34, and Angie Dees, 27, both of Peel, with a 30-30 rifle, hitting both with one shot. Investigators say Cagle suspected the two were having a domestic altercation, and that all three are suspected of being "heavily intoxicated." Rogers and Dees were taken to area hospitals. The shoo

The Marion County Sheriff's office says three children were present during the shooting, ages 2, 3 and 4.

Prosecutors have charged Cagle with two counts of “Battery In The First Degree”, Class B Felonies; and three counts of “Endangering The Welfare Of A Minor In The Second Degree”, Class A Misdemeanors. Investigators say other charges are possible.

Cagle is jailed on $100,000 bond.
