Carrie Underwood May Be Coming to JQH Arena in Springfield, Missouri

By KSPR News

Country music star Carrie Underwood may be coming to Springfield this summer.

The director of Missouri State University's JQH Arena says there will be a concert announcement at 7:00 a.m. Monday, February 8.

On Sunday around 4 a.m., Missouri State University's official ticket-distribution site, MissouriStateTix.com, listed a concert by the American idol Season 4 winner for Tuesday, June 15. By Sunday afternoon, the concert listing was taken down, however, KSPR was able to capture the screen before it was taken down. See it below.

This was how the MissouriStateTix.com website appeared at 12:30 p.m. Sunday

The site listed three separate dates for tickets to go on sale: February 9, 11 and 12, all at midnight. It is likely only one of those dates is correct.

Underwood will be among the stars performing at this year’s CMA Music Festival Thursday through Sunday, June 10-13 in Nashville, Tenn. Underwood's web site currently lists tour dates only through the end of May.

Underwood will sing the national anthem as part of Super Bowl XLIV pregame festivities Sunday.
