Two Men Charged with Promoting Prostitution, Also Built, Sold Luxury Condos

By KSPR News

New information tonight about two men charged with promoting prostitution in Branson. Investigators say they caught Thomas A. D’Alessandro and David L. House in an undercover sting. The two men are also known for bringing luxury condos to the tourist town.

Celebration Cove Condos website lists D’Alessandro as the principal. “Tom has built hundreds of homes and a handful of subdivisions in the Ozarks since 1985,” the website reads. The site lists House as the Sales Manager. “Before joining the Celebration Cove team, Dave ran a successful real estate firm in Springfield, Missouri – amassing more than $50 million in sales from 2005 – 2008.”

Undercover investigators say D’Alessandro also paid to bring three prostitutes from Arkansas to a Branson condo in Falls Creek Resort. "It culminated from some face to face contacts with prostitutes who told undercover officers information that enabled them to find out who was involved in promoting the activity," Taney County Prosecutor Jeff Merrell said.

Prosecutors charged three women they say sold sex from the condo. Twenty-four-year old Amanda McCool, 21-year-old Carissa Nethercut and 41-year-old Lindy Ann Postell are charged with prostitution. Undercover officers say each solicited sex for $550.

House is accused of advertising something other than condos. Prosecutors charged him with promoting D’Alessandro’s suspected prostitutes on craigslist.com.

Officers say D’Alessandro paid Lori Wilkerson to drive the women from Arkansas to Branson. KSPR called the condos and asked to speak to an owner or manager but we were told no one was available. KSPR asked if multiple owners were involved. The person on the phone would only say D'Alessandro is a managing partner. According to the Missouri Secretary of State’s website a man from Riverside, MO is also listed as a board director for the condos.

KSPR also called D’Alessandro at his other business Bluewater Development, his home and his attorney. His attorney Barney Naioti was out of the office Friday.

KSPR also stopped by the address House listed as his home and business, Elite Realty, no one answered the door. His listed phone number was disconnected. "This matter is still in litigation. We cannot comment at this time," House’s Attorney Bruce Galloway said.

Condo models are open and ready but no one at the site was willing to comment either. If KSPR would not leave the property, one employee threatened to break the camera.

According to the secretary of state's website since 2004, Celebration Cove Resort Condominiums, Inc. failed to file an annual report with the state. “The above corporation stands administratively dissolved or revoked,” a letter from the secretary of state stated.

Both men are due back in court later this month.
