Mountain Grove, MO, Stabbing Suspect Still on the Loose

  The Texas Couty Sheriff's Department sent out this news release Friday, detailing a stabbing incident that happened New Year's Eve. 

  The suspect has been charged but is still on the loose:

At 0112 hours the Texas County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of an assault at the Midway bar located just East of Mtn Grove, MO on Business 60.
 
Deputies were told that a white male had been stabbed numerous times and was in the process of being airlifted to a Springfield hospital.
 
During the investigation it was found that two males had a verbal confrontation inside the bar and one was asked to leave the establishment. The second man decided to leave a short time later. He was apparently approached by the male in the parking lot.
 
During the altercation the victim received several wounds from a sharp edged weapon. The suspect then fled from the scene. The victim made his way to the Mtn Grove police dept. where medical aid was summoned.
 
Prosecuting Attorney Michael Anderson has charged, Casey B Blair, age 37, of Mtn Grove, with Second Degree Assault. Anyone with information concerning his location may call the following;
