Former Alaska
Gov. Sarah Palin says she has stayed grounded during her meteoric rise to fame in the last 18 months.
Palin spoke to KTUU-TV, a television station in Anchorage, Alaska. Since the release of her book,
"Going Rogue," Palin has talked to many national media outlets but very few local ones.
She may have granted KTUU the sitdown because she once worked there as a
sports anchor.Palin spoke to reporter John Carpenter while in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Palin will be in southwest Missouri in December. She will speak at the College of the Ozarks December 2. Media are not allowed into that event unless they have a ticket. Palin will also sign copies of her book at Borders earlier that day from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
