Gov. Sarah Palin Talks to KSPR Sister Station

By Brad Belote

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has talked to Oprah Winfrey and Barbara Walters.

But she has thus far granted very few interviews with local television stations while promoting her new book, "Going Rogue."

Palin made an exception this week. She talked to KTUU-TV, the television station in Anchorage where Palin was the sports anchor for a brief time in the 1980s.

Palin spoke to reporter John Carpenter while in Fort Wayne, Ind. Palin spoke beyond the topics in the book and addressed issues relevant to Alaska politics.

Palin will be in southwest Missouri in December. She will speak at the College of the Ozarks December 2. Media are not allowed into that event unless they have a ticket. Palin will also sign copies of her book at Borders earlier that day from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

(KSPR and KTUU are owned by Schurz Communications Inc.)
