Evangel University has named Brenton Illum its new head football coach.
Illum replaces
Scott Metcalf who announced
his resignation earlier this month after 8 seasons as head coach.
Illum is the
assisant coach and defensive coordinator at Western State College of Colorado. Illum graduated from Evangel in 1998 and was the team's linebacker coach from 1998-2001. He has also coached at Missouri State University and
Fort Lewis College in Colorado.
