Webster County Sex Offender Charged for Violating New Halloween Law

By KSPR News

Seymour police say a registered sex offender broke the law when he didn't post a "no candy" sign during Halloween. Sixty-seven year-old Robert Lee Parish was first convicted more than 20 years ago of lewd acts with a teenaged girl. He was convicted again in 2005 of misdemeanor sexual misconduct. Serymour police say Parish failed to put a sign in his yard. Missouri law requries registered sex offenders to post such signs, so kids won't be on their property.
