UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. (AP) - A St. Louis-area beauty salon owner who recovered two movie scripts from the trash is heading to Los Angeles for the premiere of the new vampire film "New Moon."
Casey Ray spotted the scripts earlier this year in a trash bin in the Central West End neighborhood of St. Louis. It's not known how they got there, but another movie - "Up In the Air" - was shooting in the area at the time.
Rather than keep or sell the scripts, Ray returned them to Summit Entertainment LLC. The studio has said it can't confirm details, but it thanked Ray for doing the right thing and invited her to the "New Moon" premiere.
Ray plans to attend Monday's event with a cousin. She'll get the "New Moon" script she found returned to her, signed by lead actors and the writer.
