While it's a little rainy, starting Thursday you can grab your little goblins, and maybe an umbrella, and head to the zoo for some Halloween fun.
Spooktacular at Dickerson park zoo starts Thursday.
It runs from 6:30-9 p.m. every night through Halloween.
Ticket prices are $5 at the gate, but you can get them for $4 at McDonalds in Springfield, Ozark, Nixa, Republic, and Battlefield.
This year you'll be able to follow a narrated journey leading to "Where the Wild Things Are." Hundreds of jack-o-lanterns carved by Springfield-area students will light the way.
And of course, kids 12 and under can trick or treat throughout the zoo.
