By KSPR News

A 55-year-old Springfield man is recovering from head injuries after he was hit by a vehicle while bicycling in Rogersville on Wednesday.

The man was on Center Street around 5 p.m. when he was hit by the truck or SUV; the driver then fled the scene, says Rogersville Police Sgt. Eric Martin.

Police are looking for a white Ford F-150 or Explorer, built between 1997-2003, Martin says.

"There is damage to the right-hand side headlight, mirror and bug guard," Martin says.

Anyone with information on this crash is asking to call Rogersville police at (417) 753-2884.
