UPDATE: Springfield Police Investigating Murder

Springfield Police are investigating a possible overnight homicide in North Springfield.
Police responded to a call about 2:00 a.m. on the 2200 block of North Campbell.
They found a 28 year old woman dead at a house. Police say the scene was suspicious, so they are investigating it as a murder.
Police took a 31 year old man, who also lives at the house, into custody. They say they believe he was the boyfriend of the woman.
Neighbors are telling KSPR they heard the couple fighting a lot. Police have responded to three previous domestic disturbance calls at that residence in the past 4 months.
The cause of death has not been released, pending autopsy results.
