The Missouri Water Patrol says a man from Warsaw drowned at the Lake of the Ozarks today (10-6).
It happened at the 91 mile marker near his hometown.
The patrol says someone saw Terrell Thurman in the water near a dock.
The witness says the 57 year old was waving his arms and calling for help.
The witness ran to call 911. When he returned, he could not see Thurman.
Rescuers recovered the man’s body in about 12 feet of water.
The patrol found his boat floating nearby.
Investigators are not sure how he ended up in the water.
