$10,000 Meth Bust in Taney County

Taney county deputies arrested a man when they found an estimated $10,000 in methamphetamine and $3,000 in cash at a home in Taneyville.
According to the sheriff's ofice it is the third time the suspect has been arrested this year for drug charges.
PRESS RELEASE
The Taney County Sheriff's Office, through an ongoing drug investigation, obtained a search warrant for 3312 E. State Highway 76 in Taneyville, Mo. The search warrant was served on October 4, 2009 by Taney County Deputies. Seized during this search was approximately 1/4 pound of methamphetamine (estimated street value of $10,000) and approximately $3,000 in cash. Arrested as a result of this investigation is Alfred 'Freddy' Gilbert, 41 years-old from Taneyville. Mr. Gilbert is currently in the Taney County Jail on a no bond warrant for 2nd degree drug trafficking.
Mr. Gilbert was also arrested by Taney County Deputies on June 22, 2009 for drug distribution and released on a $50,000 bond set by the Taney County Associate Courts and again on August 25, 2009 for 2nd degree drug trafficking and again released on a $50,000 bond set by the Taney County Associate Courts.
