Petition Circulates to Dissolve Arkansas Town

A business owner in northwestern Arkansas is leading a petition to dissolve her town.

Susan Simler wants residents of Beaver, Arkansas to fill the two empty seats on the town's five-member council or sign her petition to disssolve. Beaver has 95 residents at last census. Some city leaders are opposed to the petition. It will be up to the county attorney to file the paperwork for dissolution.
