A woman has now been charged with setting a fire that killed her ex-boyfriend in Mountain View, Missouri. Prosecutors charged Annette Cross with first degree murder, first degree arson and armed criminal action.
When deputies questioned her, Cross admitted to shooting her ex-boyfriend, Andrew Day, four times. Twice in the head and twice in the chest. She also admitted to setting his house on fire.
Deputies found Cross in Lawrence, Kansas.
The fire started early Tuesday morning, when crews put out the flames, they found a body.
