Good morning! I hope a few of you got a few hours of sleep last night... those storms sure made a lot of noise.
The National Weather Service has not said if the storm damage in Texas Co. is from a straight line wind or a tornado. They will be evaluating storm damage today. We will pass on the information when we get it.
Here is the storm report from Roby:
(5:35:28 AM) nwsbot: SGF: 4 N Roby [Texas Co, MO] fire dept/rescue reports TSTM WND DMG at 12:20 AM CDT -- *** 1 inj *** a mobile home was completely destroyed by either severe thunderstorm wind gusts or a possible tornado. a storm survey will likely be performed this afternoon.
Currently a cold front is pushing through the area. Be prepared, it's a cool one out there this morning. The rain is holding steady along that MO/AR border... and showers could stay around for the next few hours.

Flash flooding could be a problem today as quite a bit of rain fell across the area today. Here is a look at 24 hour precip. Notice that this is only an ESTIMATE!!!! Locally higher amounts were recorded. Yesterday's QPF was pretty accurate.

Today and the next few days will be much cooler! Highs will be right around the 80-degree mark. I'm pretty excited about dry, calm, and cool weather.

Have a good day. Let us know about any storm damage.
