Sports fans everywhere got some shocking news out of Nashville on the 4th of July.
Former Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair has been shot and killed.
Police said McNair took a fatal gunshot wound to the head; an unidentified women was also found dead.
There are no suspects and no arrests but several people have been taken in for questioning.
McNair played 13 seasons in the NFL, retiring in 2007.
