Man Shot in Neck at Springfield Park

Springfield police say they've arrested two men in connection with the shooting. They say it appears the victim and the shooter had a long-standing feud.

Springfield Police rushed to the scene of a shooting in the city's Washington Park in the 1600 block of North Summit on Saturday.

Officers say a black man was shot in the neck by a person in a green Ford Windstar van near the park after a confrontation.

The man was concious when police arrived and has been taken to Cox South, and his condition is not considered life-threatening.

Police found the van but not the shooter.
