Thousands of patients at a hospital in Denver, Colorado, may have been exposed to another disease and now the woman at the center of the problem has more problems with federal officials.
Rose Medical Center in Denver says a former surgery technician was swapping her own dirty syringes for ones filled with powerful narcotics.
Now the hospital is contacting about 6,000 patients who may have been exposed to Hepatitis-C as a result.
So far nine patients have tested positive for the disease.
The technician was fired.
