Bull Shoals Woman Facing Drug Charges

A Bull Shoals woman has surrendered herself to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding warrant of arrest for the offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

According to an affidavit filed in Circuit Court by the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division, Ruby Daniels of Bull Shoals, Arkansas provided eight (8) Fentanyl patches (Schedule II Controlled Substance) to a co-defendant on January 31, 2009. Ruby Daniels received $120.00 in exchange for the patches. The co-defendant then delivered those patches to Kenneth Williams. Kenneth Williams chewed some of the patches, and he subsequently died of a suspected drug overdose at 231 Backwoods Dr. in the Midway area on February 1, 2009.

Charges have been filed against the co-defendant as well, however she has not yet been arrested. The death was jointly investigated by the Sheriff’s Office and Arkansas State Police.

Ruby Daniels, 58 years old of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, charged with:
Delivery of Controlled Substance – Felony

She has been incarcerated in the Detention Center with bond set at $5,000. She will appear in the Baxter County Circuit Court on July 24th.
