Springfield Police Searching for Donation Jar Thief

Springfield Police Department news release:
The Springfield Police Department is currently investigating three related thefts of donation jars designated for the Children's Miracle Network. The donation jars were stolen in three separate incidents from local Kum N Go stores. The thefts occurred between June 27 and June 30. An undetermined amount of cash was taken in each of the thefts.
The thefts occurred at the following stores.
1605 E. Kearney-6/27/09 09-27957
2963 E. Division-6/29/09 09-28171
620 N. National-6/29/09 09-28263
In all three cases the suspect is a stocky built male black, between 5-10 and 6-1, weighing between 200-230 pounds. It appears the suspect is between 25-35 years of age, and may go by the name of James.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect should call the Springfield Police Department at 864-1810 or 864-TIPS.
Currently the Police Department is waiting for the in store video from Kum N Go; however, the department is in possession of a still photograph of the suspect (no electronic version) that can be used. The photograph is from the theft that occurred at 620 N. National.
