Harrison, Arkansas One Step Closer to Air Service

By KSPR News

After being without essential air service for a year, the Boone County Arkansas Regional Airport may have a new airline.
The U.S. Department of Transportation has tentatively selected Seaport Airlines to provide subsidized service at four Arkansas locations, including Harrison.
But it also trimmed a million dollars from the requested annual subsidy, and reduced the number of weekly round trips between each airport.
Seaport has ten days to accept or reject the award.
The airline operates primarily Portland and Seattle and flies nine-passenger pressurized aircraft.
