Luetjen Family Members Say Closure Could Take a While

By Will Carter, KSPR News

THE ARREST OF A FAMILY MEMBER IN A COLE CAMP TRIPLE HOMICIDE IS AS SUPRISING TO SOME AS THE CRIME ITSELF.

"I'm glad that they caught somebody. They did a very good job in catching them. I was surprised. I never thought they would be found."

THIS FROM PAULA HOSKINS, TARON LUETJEN'S GREAT AUNT.

"I can't even imagine what she was going through, the horror of all of this. For a child to walk in on something like that. I still have nightmares on what she went through," said Hoskins.

TARON AND HER GRANDPARENTS DONNIE AND SHARON LUETJEN WERE FOUND SHOT TO DEATH IN THEIR HOME ON JUNE 9TH.

A SATURDAY PRESS CONFERENCE ANNOUNCED THE CHILLING TRUTH, THAT AT LEAST ONE OF THE FAMILY'S KILLER'S WAS RELATED.

45-YEAR-OLD ROBERT BLURTON WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH THREE COUNTS OF FIRST-DEGREE MURDER.

"How do you deal with that? You don't. You just pray, and hope that things turn out better," said Paula Moore, Sharon Luetjen's Cousin.

THE MISSOURI MAJOR CASE SQUAD SAYS DNA AND A 911 HANG
UP CALL LED THEM TO THE ARREST OF BLURTON, BUT WILL ONLY ELABORATE ON THE EVIDENCE TO SAY THIS...

"I can tell you that 911 call was extremely beneficial to us, as we progressed through this investigation," said Sheriff Chuck Heis of the Missouri Major Case Squad.

SO FOR THE LUEJEN FAMILY, THE NIGHTMARE CONTINUES AS THEY MAKE ONE FINAL PLEA TO THE COMMUNITY THAT'S ALREADY
HELPED THEM THROUGH SO MUCH.

"As they said, it's not over. We still need your prayers and your support. If anyone has heard anything, even the least little bit, please continue to call in," said Donnie and Sharon's daughter Deborah Armenta.

THE MISSOURI MAJOR CASE SQUAD IS SET TO START WORK AGAIN ON TUESDAY.
