Accused Sex Teacher Waives Court Hearing

By KSPR News

A former Greenfield teacher accused of having sex with one of her students waived her preliminary hearing Monday in Greene County Associate Court.

Alison Peck, 23, is charged in Greene, Lawrence and Dade counties with having sex with the 16-year-old student. She's being held in the Greene County Jail on $200,000 bond.

Prosecutors were expected to air some of their evidence against Peck at Monday's hearing. Peck's case now goes straight to circuit court; she'll be arraigned there at 8:30 a.m. July 26.

Peck is accused in Greene County of meeting the student for sex despite being out on bond on the charges from Dade County.
