By KSPR News

Authorities say a co-owner of a well-known Arkansas hotel has been killed in a traffic accident in Iowa.

The Pottawattamie County, Iowa Sheriff says 68-year-old Martin Roenigk of Eureka Springs, Ark. was riding with his wife Thursday when their vehicle was involved in a wreck with a pickup. Roenigk's wife, Elisie Roenigk, was injured and taken to an Omaha, Nebraska hospital.

Investigators say the truck's 72-year-old driver and his two grandchildren were also injured and taken to area hospitals.

The Roenigk's owned the Crescent Hotel, Basin Park Hotel, and War Eagle Mill.
