Good Monday, morning! More storms are rolling through the Ozarks. As of now (8:50am) the radar has died down considerably. At one point we had a thunderstorm warning and a tornado warning for Camden/Miller county issued.
Currently we are watching the threat of flash flooding. Take a look at some of these reports from Monday morning:
(8:47:52 AM) nwsbot: SGF: Iberia [Miller Co, MO] co-op observer reports HEAVY RAIN of M2.30 INCH at 08:47 AM CDT --

(7:22:10 AM) nwsbot: SGF: Brumley [Miller Co, MO] public reports HEAVY RAIN of E2.60 INCH at 07:21 AM CDT -- rain fell in 45 minutes.
(6:57:03 AM) nwsbot: SGF: Lake Ozark [Miller Co, MO] broadcast media reports HEAVY RAIN of E1.68 INCH at 06:57 AM CDT -- rainfall since 5 am.
(6:46:55 AM) nwsbot: SGF: Cole Camp [Benton Co, MO] co-op observer reports HEAVY RAIN of M1.82 INCH at 06:47 AM CDT -- measured rainfall since 5 am.
The Storm Prediction Center has issued a slight risk for severe weather:

The tornado threat remains fairly low. Strong winds and large hail will be our main worry. We have seen the first wave move through... by later this afternoon another round could start to build into our area. Different models are putting it through our areas at different times. I do believe the threat will remain this afternoon. If you see a cell pop up over you, you may have the chance to turn severe quickly.
Our greatest threat for severe weather and heavy rain will be to the north of Springfield. (that is also where we saw the heaviest of rain earlier today) Flooding could be a problem until tomorrow morning.

By mid-week... we will be wanting the rain desperatly. Anything to cool us down! We will have consecutive days in the low-90'.s

Have a wonderful day! Stay Safe!
