Reported Rape in Stone County

Stone County News Release:
Stone County investigators are currently working a reported rape that occurred Friday morning, May 1, 2009.
A 13 year old female, living in Barrington Oaks sub-division in Reeds Spring, Mo, called her mother at work around 10:10am stating that she had been raped. The juvenile stated the alleged rape occurred between 9:37 am and 10:10 am.
The suspect is reported to be a male, unknown age, wearing a black ski mask, black long sleeve shirt, black pants and wearing gloves.
After the rape, the juvenile stated she ran out of the house to a nearby church to call her mother. A canvas of the neighborhood has resulted in no leads as of this date. If anyone has any information, or saw anyone of suspicion in the area that morning we are asking you to call the Stone County Sheriff’s Office at 417 357-6116.
