Greene County prosecutors on Monday charged a 19-year-old man with murder. They say he gunned down someone during a Saturday afternoon argument on the streets of north Springfield.

Anglish R. Johnson, Jr., is charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action. He's being held on $250,000 bond.

According to court documents, Johnson and Nathaniel Charleston, Jr., were arguing on the street when Johnson pulled a gun and fired several shots.

Charleston crumpled to the ground, then got into an SUV and was driven to Cox North. He was later transferred to Cox South, where he died.
