Arkansas Shelters Struggling to keep Powerless Warm and Fed

Up to a half a million people in Arkansas hunkered down for another night without power Wednesday.

Even the shelters were struggling to keep stranded people warm and fed.

Emergency officials in Harrison, AR struggled to fix a generator at the National Guard Armory Shelter.

Problems in Harrison affected shelters many miles away in Lead Hill.

Fulton County Arkansas:

-Salem First Baptist
-Salem Church of Christ

Baxter County:
-East Side Baptist Church
-Salvation Army Church

West Plains, MO:
-First United Methodist Church

Gainesville, MO:
-Gainesville High School


Forsyth, MO:
-The Masonic Lodge on Pinet Street

Organizers want to remind people to bring all of their medications and bedding.
