Man Arrested After Macks Creek Marina Theft

A man who worked at a Macks Creek marina is charged with receiving stolen property in connection with the theft of a boat motor.
Camden County Sheriff John Page says on November 8 someone stole a Mercruiser lower from a local marina. It was valued at $15,000.00.
The special operations unit of the sheriff’s office arrested Brian K. West after a sting. The sheriff said he was trying to sell the unit for $5,000.
The 43 year old West is being held at the Camden County Adult Detention Facility on charges of Felony Receiving Stolen Property.
Bond has been set at $50,000.00
