FEMA Centers Open For Stone and Taney Counties

By Michelle Sherwood

Remnants of Hurricane Ike damaged parts of the Ozarks back in September, and now the federal government is offering help.

FEMA will open two disaster recovery centers tomorrow--one in Stone County, the other is in Taney.

The centers will provide face-to-face help to people who had property damage. The center in Taney County will be at the Rockaway Beach Community Center. The one in Stone County will be at the Reeds Spring High School.

Both centers open Monday at noon and close at 7 p.m. They will be in the area until Wednesday.

For more information, call 1-800-621-FEMA. That's 1-800-621-3362.
