Park Central Closing Time Idea could be tabled

The City Council has received a request from the Urban Districts Alliance to table Council Bill 2008-337 at the Nov. 24 meeting and remand it to the Council’s Plans and Policies Committee.
This Council Bill related to a proposed change in the closing time of Park Central Square.
UDA Executive Director Rusty Worley said he requested the bill be tabled to provide Council members with additional information on the topic.
“We appreciate the public comment this issue has generated to date and look forward to working with the City, residents, business owners, and developers to continue the revitalization of Park Central Square and Center City,” Worley said in his request to table the bill.
