Red kettles aren't the only way to "ring" in donations.
The Salvation Army also uses Angel Trees.
While you're shopping for family and friends make sure to stop by one of these angel trees and help a Greene County family in need.
Pieces of paper with gift descriptions on them adorn the tree instead of glass-ball ornaments.
You’ll find the trees at certain Wal-Marts, K-Marts, and Dillon’s in the Ozarks.
It’s simple to help, just pick out an angel tag and buy a gift matching the description.
"It's to help the children in our community to have a better Christmas, and to accommodate even some of their needs that they may have; so it's one way for us at Wal-Mart to give back, going through the Salvation Army to help this program," said Wal-Mart Assistant Manager Shelia Koss.
