Vice presidential hopeful Joe Biden says the White House is slipping away from Republicans.

Biden spent half of his speech in Springfield Friday pointing out what he calls problems in a failing campaign.

The vice presidential candidate spent the other half trying to attract the undecided Missouri voter.

The most recent polls show a nearly dead heat in the Missouri presidential race.
