Local Law Enforcement Round Up Drug Users, Dealers

Several local law enforcement agencies worked together to round up twenty suspected drug users and dealers.

The Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group and Pulaski County Sheriff's Department tried to serve 20 warrants Wednesday.

In all, prosecutor's filed 32 charges against the 20 suspects.

Ten suspects were arrested.

Ten others are still wanted

Each person is being held on $1,500 cash only bond.

Investigators say the arrests were part of a year long investigation that focused on methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin drug users and dealers.

The charges range from possession of a controlled substance to sale of a controlled substance.

Several jurisdictions were involved including; Laclede, Camden, Gasconade, Dallas, Crawford County Sheriff’s Departments.

The Lebanon Police Department and Osage Beach Police department also assisted in the raid.

Pulaski County Sheriff J.B. King says the raid was routine with no problems.
