A new request from PETA was the topic of one KSPR Daily Download segment. The animal rights organization asked ice cream maker Ben & Jerry’s to use human breast milk instead of milk from cows in its ice cream. PETA argued human breast milk is healthier than the stuff coming out of cows. Ben & Jerry’s said it’s a novel idea, but they think a mother’s milk is best used for her child.
So we wanted to know if you would eat ice cream made from breast milk. The topic ended up being one of our most responded to questions ever, and just about every said ‘no.’
Would you eat ice cream made from breast milk? Keep the already heated discussion going by leaving your thoughts below.
