Branson-area Man Crashes in Motorized Parachute

By KSPR News

A Branson-area man suffered minor injuries after crashing in his motorized parachute.

The wreck happened just after 7 a.m. Monday in the man's back yard.

Witnesses said he clipped a tree shortly after taking off from a landing strip in his backyard just north of Branson.

The Western Taney County Fire Protection District says smaller trees and brush helped soften his landing.
