Former Wife of Murdered Man Could go to Civil Court

By KSPR News
By Joanna Small

There have never been any criminal charges, but the former wife of a nationally recognized book collector and attorney found fatally shot in his Greene County home could end up in civil court.
Alberta Comstock is asking a judge to throw out a lawsuit implicating her in her ex-husband Rolland Comstock's July 2007 death.
Alberta Comstock’s daughter, Faith Stocker, filed the suit in July, accusing her mother of killing Rolland Comstock, either “alone or in conspiracy with another.”
She does not specify who that other might be or what led to the shooting.
