Benton County Likely to Get New Judge

By KSPR News

A Warsaw attorney seems likely to be the next Benton County judge.
He’s already got the support of the state's highest ranked politician.
Mark Pilley was appointed associate circuit court judge for the county Friday by Governor Matt Blunt.
He replaces Judge Larry Burditt, who retired mid-term this summer.
Pilley hopes to assume the position by November, but it's not official yet.
The Secretary of State still has to issue him a commission, and then Pilley has 30 days to accept it.
