City found guilty of dumping in Ozark Lake

The City of Lake Ozark pleads guilty to illegally dumping sewage into the Lake of the Ozarks.
The mayor signed a plea agreement admitting the city repeatedly discharged untreated sewage into the lake.

The Department of Natural Resources said a lift station problem sent up to 15,000 gallons of raw sewage into the lake.

The city also agreed to upgrade its wastewater treatment system and report all bypasses.

Fine the City leaders and put them in jail for a while. That is what they would do to a private citizen. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.
