Warrenton Tiger Attack Victim Loses Leg

By KSPR News

ST. LOUIS (AP) - The 26-year-old victim of a tiger attack in eastern Missouri loses part of his leg.

Warren County Sheriff Kevin Harrison says Tuesday that Jacob Barr had part of one leg below the knee surgically removed after he was attacked by a tiger Sunday at the Wesa-A-Geh-Ya animal facility. A spokeswoman for Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis says Barr is in satisfactory condition.

In a separate instance, a 16-year-old was attacked Monday by tigers at Predator World in southwest Missouri. Phone calls for an update on his condition were not immediately returned.
