COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Six more bodies have been recovered from a funeral home that was shut down while authorities investigate complaints that bodies were mishandled.
Columbia police said the bodies were recovered Friday afternoon from Warren Funeral Home.
Dan Viets, an attorney for funeral home operators Harold Warren Sr. and Harold Warren Jr., said he called state investigators after his clients told him there were more remains at the funeral chapel. No further details were released.
The funeral home closed Wednesday for 15 days. The Missouri Attorney General's office has sued the home, accusing it of improperly handling bodies.

I think it is a terribl;e shame, that we pay so much for funeral services to have someone dispose of our love ones improper, when in most cases have already paid for the services upfront. Now the public wants to say the issue is something else. that is the issue improper handling of deceased bodies. ....I don't feel sorry for the owners I think they created this and thought no one would ever find out.
