Why Milk? Campaign Searches for Next Moustache-Touting Star in Springfield

By KSPR News
By Joanna Small

Some call her mom, but the people behind the milk mustache ads call her Chief Health Officer.
And of all the moms or Chief Health Officers in the country, they’re choosing one to star in a milk mustache ad.
Sunday, local kids came to Smillie's IGA in Springfield to create 30-second mom-ination videos explaining why their moms or moms they know deserve the title of Springfield’s Chief Health Officer.
The winner of the local contest will go on to compete against CHOs all over the nation for the honor of becoming American’s Chief Health Officer, and that's the lady who will be featured in the ad.
Kids and moms also entered the Chief Health Officer sweepstakes, which will reward one lucky mom with $100,000.
They're calling it a salary every health-conscious mom deserves.
