Lebanon Audit Released Tonight

Last year, hundreds of people in the Laclede County community of Lebanon demanded a state audit of their city.
They said an outside agency needed to investigate the way the city was doing business. At 6:30 Wednesday night, they will find out if their suspicions were warranted.
Missouri Auditor Susan Montee and her staff will make their audit public at that time during a meeting at the Cowan Civic Center.
The meeting is open to the public.
Calls for an audit have led to many changes in Lebanon. A new mayor who favored an outside audit was swept into office. He, in turn, made sweeping changes in the city's police department.
