Divers find body of Arkansas man in Crooked Creek

By KSPR NEWS

YELLVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say they've found the body of a 21-year-old Yellville man who drowned in Crooked Creek over the weekend.

Police say divers recovered the body of Joshua Zieammermann on Sunday. Zieammermann was with friends Sunday when he fell into the
creek while crossing a low-water bridge. Authorities say Zieammermann was swimming and fishing with friends at the time.

Friends and family say Zieammermann swam in Crooked Creek regularly. But Henry Campfield with the Marion County Sheriff's Office says heavy rains caused a fast current and high water level in the creek, making it dangerous for swimmers.
