Bid Accepted for New Springfield School

By KSPR News

The Springfield School Board approved the base bid for the new Hickory Hills Elementary School at Tuesday night's meeting. The nearly $18 million school will be the first LEED certified energy efficient "grreen" school in the district. The board also approved an extension of the food service contract with Aramark. That means school lunches will cost students an extra quarter next year. Breakfasts will cost an additional dime.
