By KSPR News

Mediacom will pay $2 million over the next decade to the City of Springfield for naming rights to two city-run parks facilities.

KSPR News has learned the cable company will pay $200,000 a year to the city to put its name on the Jordan Valley Ice Park and the stadium at Cooper Tennis Complex.

The former will become the Mediacom Ice Park at Jordan Valley; the stadium will become the Mediacom Stadium at Cooper Tennis Complex.

City officials say the deal will run 10 years.
