Shelters Open Up Across the Ozarks

The Missouri State Emergency Management Agency reported that the following shelters have been opened in the following counties.

Newton County
First Baptist Church in Diamond
Calvary Baptist Church in Neosho

Barry County
Purdy Community Center

Tornadoes killed at least 12 people in southwest Missouri and six people in northeast Oklahoma as a storm system moved quickly across the two states.
